Schedule:
- 07:0019:00 (12-hour shifts)
- 36 hours per week
- Rare floating to other units
- One on-call shift weekly
- Weekend and holiday coverage as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid KS or compact RN license
- Minimum 3 years direct ER nursing experience (5+ years preferred)
- Large facility background advantageous
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- Orientation begins Mondays; ready to provide documentation by the Wednesday prior
- New graduates not accepted
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a high-acuity emergency room
- Collaborate seamlessly with physicians and healthcare teams during trauma and medical emergencies
- Implement critical thinking for rapid assessments and interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to best practices for patient safety
- Fulfill on-call and weekend/holiday shifts in rotation
