This role provides extensive exposure to diverse emergency room workplace practices, equipping you with valuable insight into different leadership styles, policies, and patient care techniques. Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Call shift: One per week
- Weekend and holiday shifts as needed
- Start date: Mid-late May preferred
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of ER nursing experience required
- 5+ years of ER experience and large facility experience preferred
- Active KS or compact RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- New graduates will not be accepted
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Adhere to facility protocols and provide comprehensive patient assessments
- Float to other units only as rarely required
- Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled
