Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 7p-7a
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Four weekend shifts required every four weeks
- No call requirements
- Orientations available every 2nd and 4th Monday
This is an exceptional opportunity for an Emergency Room RN to hone skills in a diverse setting while working with all patient populationsfrom pediatric to geriatric, trauma to cardiac. Get exposure to varied healthcare approaches and collaborate with experienced clinical leaders who value teamwork, resilience, and a positive attitude. Experience state-of-the-art equipment and an efficient EHR system (Cerner) in a modern hospital environment, adding depth and variety to your nursing resume.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department experience
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC certifications
- Trauma and pediatric ER experience preferred
- Comfortable with diverse patient types: trauma, STEMI, psych, cardiac, GI, stroke, and more
- Adaptable, collaborative, and dedicated to quality patient care
- Comfortable wearing scrubs (any color or print); non-scrubs, T-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, leggings are not permitted
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care in a 22-bed ED with patient ratios: 4:1 (pod patients), 2:1 (critical), 6:1 (fast track)
- Quickly and accurately assess, triage, and manage critically ill patients following best practices
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families
- Document meticulously using Cerner EHR system
