An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care to provide critical and urgent medical support in a fast-paced environment. This contract role is based in Toledo, OR, offering experienced ER nurses the chance to apply their skills in managing a diverse patient population, including emergent medical and mental health conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients ranging from non-critical to life-threatening conditions.
- Participate in the assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients arriving via emergency transport or walk-ins.
- Provide emergent and urgent mental health crisis interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain certification and skills essential for cardiac, trauma, pediatric, and adult emergency care.
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification is preferred.
