Provide focused nursing care in the fast-paced Emergency Room setting, delivering coordinated treatment to patients based on established standards and nursing processes. This contract opportunity requires an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) skilled in ER nursing to supervise and direct nursing staff, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients in the emergency department.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff at various competency levels, ensuring adherence to care standards.
- Coordinate patient care activities with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Apply critical thinking and professional judgment to respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Document patient care, assessments, and ongoing treatment accurately and timely.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license.
- Proven experience in Emergency Room nursing.
- Strong leadership abilities and team coordination skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking in high-pressure scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
