Deliver compassionate, age-specific nursing care in an emergency room setting that supports patients and families in achieving and maintaining optimal health. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, efficient nursing care tailored to all age groups in the emergency department.
- Employ the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Use a variety of medical equipment, including stethoscopes, thermometers, and electronic monitors, to deliver prescribed therapies.
- Maintain clear communication and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinical care.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and handle Protected Health Information (PHI) responsibly.
- Contribute to professional nursing practice through ongoing development and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required based on clinical needs.
- Solid knowledge of the nursing process and emergency nursing practices.
- Ability to use technical nursing equipment effectively.
