Essential Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Emergency Room nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS/TNCC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Experience supervising or mentoring entry-level staff, preferred
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered emergency care in accordance with established protocols and the nursing process
- Oversee and delegate tasks to assigned nursing staff and support personnel
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor, assess, and report changes in patient conditions promptly
- Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation and contribute to process improvements
