An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in the Emergency Room. This contract role is designed for a dedicated RN with a solid background in ER settings, keen clinical skills, and a commitment to compassionate patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including assessment, triage, and interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Administer medications and support treatments according to protocols
- Accurately document clinical observations and procedures in patient records
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
- Uphold infection control protocols and safety standards at all times
