This opportunity is perfect for an RN with Emergency Room experience seeking fresh challenges. Collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals and gain exposure to a variety of workplace practices, advanced documentation (Cerner), and medication management (Pyxis)all while working in a fast-paced, 30-bed unit thats supported by 24-hour hospitalist and pharmacy coverage as well as strong ancillary systems.
Schedule/Hours:
- Self-scheduling with flexibility
- No call required
- Minimal floating; focus on task-oriented RN responsibilities
- 6 weekend shifts during each 6-week period
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license (California)
- Prior experience in Emergency Room settings
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Cerner experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong clinical assessment and rapid response abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care to a diverse ER patient population
- Administer medications safely using Pyxis
- Document care efficiently with Cerner
- Collaborate closely with physicians, unit secretaries, hospitalists, and intensivists
- Respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring high-quality outcomes
