Deliver expert nursing care in a dynamic Emergency Room (ER) setting, providing critical support to trauma and emergency patients of all ages. This contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your Registered Nurse (RN) skills while supervising and directing assigned nursing staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. Utilize your clinical expertise and judgment to manage patient needs in an acute care environment, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care following established standards and nursing processes
- Supervise and guide nursing staff at various levels, ensuring effective team performance
- Assess and manage emergency and trauma patients promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to provide comprehensive patient care
- Use critical thinking and professional discretion in patient triage, treatment, and support
- Ensure adherence to trauma site protocols as applicable in triage and patient care
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Experience in Emergency Room nursing with trauma patient care preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to apply independent nursing judgment in fast-paced, critical situations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
