Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the emergency setting
  • Triage, assess, and monitor patients to identify and address urgent medical needs
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, and ancillary staff to prioritize patient care
  • Accurately document patient histories, treatment plans, and progress in electronic medical records
  • Respond quickly to critical situations and provide life-saving interventions
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options and ongoing care

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RN license, valid in the state of NC or compact state
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an emergency room setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred
  • Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
