Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license (RN) in California
- Minimum of one year of recent ER experience
- Demonstrated ability to use the nursing process to deliver and document patient care
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- BLS and ACLS certification required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coordinated and compassionate emergency nursing care to individuals or assigned patient groups in alignment with current standards of care
- Supervise and direct nursing support staff within the unit
- Collaborate with physicians and other multidisciplinary team members
- Exercise sound professional discretion and independent judgment in clinical situations
- Maintain accurate care documentation and ensure continuity of care
