Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of California
- Recent experience in Emergency Room settings
- Advanced critical thinking and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively supervise and delegate to a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- BLS, ACLS certifications (additional certifications may be required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated, evidence-based care to individual ER patients or assigned groups
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff at multiple levels
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Collaborate with physicians and allied healthcare providers for comprehensive patient management
- Apply sound professional and supervisory judgment to ensure optimal outcomes
- Ensure meticulous documentation in accordance with established standards
