Working in a facility with 31 Emergency beds and serving a diverse patient populationranging from infants to geriatricsmeans every day adds valuable experience to your rsum. This assignment offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced teams and skilled ER professionals, exposing you to varied workplace practices, innovative leadership models, and cutting-edge technology including Cerner EMR, Philips Monitors, and bedside ultrasound. Youll be supported by 24/7 management, providers, RT, and CT/X-ray teams, ensuring robust professional growth and skill development.

Schedule / Hours:

  • Shifts: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a
  • Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
  • Holiday rotation based on unit needs
  • Schedules created in 6-week cycles, distributed one month in advance

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
  • Minimum 2 years of ED experience; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Solid competency in IV starts, foleys, NG tube insertions, neuro assessments, triage, code response, critical drips/pressors/sedation, and assisting in bedside procedures
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and natural leaders comfortable acting as ER subject matter experts

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional emergency nursing care to patients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Triage, stabilize, and treat diverse acute cases (cardiac, trauma, GI, neuro, behavioral health, respiratory, transplant complications)
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, hospitalists, and intensivists
  • Maintain high standards in documentation, safety, and infection control
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development
