Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated, patient-centered emergency nursing care per established standards and the nursing process
- Independently prioritize and manage care for patients or assigned groups
- Supervise, direct, and support various levels of nursing staff within the ER
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Demonstrate critical thinking, flexibility, and professional judgment in urgent situations
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and empathetic care environment
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (travel experience preferred but not required)
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
- Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
- Adaptability in fast-paced, unpredictable clinical situations
