Deliver high-quality, compassionate care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. In this dynamic contract role, you will provide direct, comprehensive nursing care to individuals in urgent situations, ensuring patient safety and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team. The position requires a confident clinical professional dedicated to patient advocacy and adept at managing fast-paced, high-stress scenarios.

Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Proficient in responding to critical situations and utilizing the nursing process for patient care
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications (other certifications as required by facility)
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and delegate tasks effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care to a diverse patient group in the ER setting
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and initiate appropriate interventions for acute medical and trauma cases
• Accurately administer medication and treatments following established protocols
• Monitor patient status, document care plans, and update interventions as necessary
• Supervise and guide assigned nursing and support staff
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Uphold professional standards in documentation, patient safety, and confidentiality
