Schedule/Hours:
- Typical ER 12-hour shifts, variable days and nights.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients in the ER using established standards and the nursing process.
- Oversee and direct activities of a multidisciplinary nursing team, ensuring cohesive and effective care for all patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Employ critical thinking skills, professional discretion, and strong independent judgment in fast-paced clinical situations.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care expectations with empathy and clarity.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient safety and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in California.
- Minimum of one year experience in Emergency Room nursing (ER), with ability to manage urgent and critical care scenarios.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous supervision or charge experience is a plus.
