As a travel RN specializing in Emergency Room care, youll immerse yourself in new clinical settings, broadening your expertise while working with diverse patient populations. Schedule/Hours
- Night shift: 7PM 7AM
- Every other weekend required
- Voluntary on-call
- Floating as needed during low census
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications from AHA
- TNCC or ATCN required
- CPI or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and sensitivity to patients rights
- Effective communication suited to all developmental ages
- Ability to handle fast-paced, emergency situations and physical demands
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and coordinate age-appropriate patient care, ensuring safety and quality at all times
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and leadership, supporting the mission and goals of the unit
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct while interacting with staff, physicians, patients, and families
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities, unexpected changes in schedule, and emergencies
- Support other units as needed through floating assignments
