Deliver expert nursing care as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting, providing high-quality, age-appropriate patient care during night shifts. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement patient care tailored to the Emergency Room environment and the specific needs of each patient population.
• Maintain clear, concise communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Uphold patient rights and ensure a respectful, compassionate care atmosphere.
• Respond effectively to emergency and crisis situations.
• Adhere to unit and organizational standards for quality and safety of care.

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required (PALS or ENPC acceptable).
• TNCC or ATCN certification required.
• CPI certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge relevant to the patient population.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases; work is performed in a clean, well-lit, smoke-free environment.
• Ability to manage prolonged standing, walking, and physical effort including patient positioning and equipment handling.
• Visual and auditory acuity within normal or corrected limits.

Schedule:

• Night Shift: 7 PM 7 AM
