Experience the rewarding environment of a dynamic emergency department as a Registered Nurse specializing in ER care. Work night shifts (7PM - 7AM) and make a meaningful impact providing acute care to diverse patient populations. Key Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license.
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA or ENPC), TNCC or ATCN.
• CPI or equivalent preferred.
• Up-to-date knowledge of emergency and trauma nursing care.
• Strong communication skills appropriate to all developmental stages.
• Capacity to uphold patient rights and deliver compassionate, safe care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, coordinate, and implement care in a high-acuity ER setting for a varied patient base.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate leadership in ensuring patient safety and adhering to organizational standards.
• Maintain flexibility to float to other units as census or acuity demands, supporting unit needs.
• Participate in a rotating weekend schedule (up to 2 weekends within a 4-week period).
• Adapt to evolving clinical situations and schedule changes.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Exposure to infectious diseases and medical imaging equipment.
• Requires extensive standing, walking, and physical effort to position or transfer patients and equipment.
• Must be prepared to manage stressful situations and frequent emergencies.
• Clean, well-ventilated, smoke-free work area.
