Schedule & Hours
- Night shifts: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Shift times: 3:00 PM-3:00 AM, and 3:00 AM-3:00 PM
- Floating within the ER as needed
- Weekend and holiday coverage as required
- No on-call requirement
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Active MN RN License (non-compact state)
- Current certifications from the American Heart Association: BLS, ACLS, and either PALS or ENPC
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications
- Ability to submit current cover sheet, resume, active licenses/certifications, and skills checklist
- Willingness to commit to scheduled shifts, with any requested time off limited to 7 days or less
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment
- Triage and assess incoming patients swiftly and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care
- Float within the ER as needed to support departmental staffing
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, including traumas and strokes
