Schedule:

• Night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Voluntary on-call opportunities
• Floating as helping hands during low census

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver evidence-based patient care in the Emergency Department, adhering to unit and organizational standards.
• Assess, monitor, and respond to rapidly evolving patient needs with sound clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure quality, efficient, and safe care.
• Serve with professionalism and compassion, communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or a valid compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications from AHA required; TNCC or ATCN required; CPI or equivalent preferred
• Strong understanding of rights-based patient care and communication tailored to all age groups
• Ability to handle high-stress situations, emergency response, prolonged standing/walking, and physical patient support
