Take the next step in your career as an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse, delivering high-quality patient care in a respected acute care environment. As a valued member of the Patient Care Services team, you will coordinate and implement care for a diverse patient population, utilizing advanced clinical skills and ensuring the highest standards of safety and compassion.

Schedule:

• Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends (up to 2 per 4-week schedule)
• Occasional floating as needed for census/acuity changes
• No regular on-call, unless needed due to low census

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certification from the AHA
• TNCC or ATCN certification
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Proven emergency nursing experience and relevant competency for all patient age groups
• Clear, concise communication skills
• Sensitivity to patient rights throughout delivery of care

Role Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement tailored care plans for emergency room patients
• Ensure safe, efficient, and effective clinical practices
• Collaborate respectfully with interdisciplinary staff, patients, and families
• Demonstrate adaptability through varied work hours and assignments, including floating as a supportive resource
• Uphold standards of quality, professionalism, and integrity in all clinical interactions
• Assist with patient positioning and transfers, physical assessments, and emergency interventions as needed
