Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- 7:00a7:00p shifts
- No on-call required
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Current ALS (Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications
- Demonstrated experience working in an Emergency Department
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to remain composed in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct rapid assessments and triage to prioritize care for patients of all ages
- Implement treatment plans in collaboration with providers
- Monitor vital signs and respond immediately to life-threatening conditions
- Accurately document interventions and outcomes in electronic medical records
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care instructions
