Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an emergency room environment
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid and thorough patient assessments upon admission to the ER
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond swiftly to changes in condition
• Document care, vital signs, and events clearly and accurately within the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care and seamless transitions
• Offer emotional support and education to patients and families during stressful encounters
