As a travel nurse in the Emergency Room, you'll be part of a dynamic, high-acuity environment and collaborate with skilled teams renowned for their excellence in care. Working in a busy hospital setting offers exposure to diverse operational approaches and allows you to enhance your practice with varied patient casesincluding pediatric emergencies. Schedule:
- 3p3a shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation included
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience in a large, busy hospital
- Pediatric experience required
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from Rockford, IL
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert emergency care to adult and pediatric patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Triage, assess, and prioritize care in a fast-paced ER environment
- Document patient interventions and progress per regulatory standards
- Adapt to rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays
