This role provides the unique chance to work in a bustling Adult Emergency Department at one of the nations busiest trauma centers. Schedule:
- Travel assignment; hours and shifts will reflect department needs.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active NY RN License (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department roles
- Previous travel ER assignments are required (first time travelers will not be considered)
- Telemetry expertise is essential
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association only), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Adaptability and skill in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care to a wide variety of adult patients with urgent and emergent needs
- Assist with boarder patients in the ED
- Implement advanced clinical judgment and rapid response to critical situations
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary trauma team
