Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with variable shifts
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year recent RN-ER experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (additional certifications a plus)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptable and able to coordinate effectively with a variety of healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated, high-quality nursing care for a designated group of ER patients in accordance with established protocols and the nursing process
- Supervise and promote collaboration within assigned nursing staffutilizing sound professional judgment
- Lead and participate in interdisciplinary care planning and implementation
- Quickly assess and prioritize patient needs in urgent and emergent situations
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately and promptly
- Serve as a resource and leader to colleagues while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
