In this travel nursing role within a fast-paced emergency department, youll engage with innovative care practices, collaborate with both live and telemedicine intensivists, and experience different staffing and patient flow models. Working in a setting with 21 roomsincluding trauma bays and a fast track unitwill enable you to adapt to varying patient acuity and practice resourceful, high-quality care. Exposure to the Omnicell medication system and Cerner documentation platform further enhances your technical skills, while interacting with an array of healthcare specialists offers invaluable professional mentorship.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license, with Emergency Room experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
  • Experience with medication administration systems (Omnicell preferred) and electronic health records (Cerner preferred)
  • Flexibility for weekend shifts; no call or float requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care across all acuity levels within the ER
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Efficient, accurate use of electronic documentation and medication systems
  • Provide support in trauma, urgent care, and fast track settings
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families during high-stress situations
