Schedule/Hours:
- Nights, every other weekend (EOW), 36 hours per week
Role Highlights: In this setting averaging 230 daily ED visits, youll work with fellow nursing professionals in a 1:4 clinician-to-patient ratio, allowing for meaningful, patient-centered care. Exposure to a broad patient population ensures continuous growth in assessment, documentation, and acute intervention.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Nursing experience
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (NRP & TNCC preferred)
- Proficiency in core ED skills: triage, IV initiation, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring, EKGs, splinting, and patient education
- Experience with EPIC ASAP EMR a plus
- Capability to float to similar units as needed
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Rapid patient assessment, intervention, documentation, and care coordination
- Deliver safe, evidence-based medical and psychosocial support for diverse patient populations
- Engage in bedside procedures and point-of-care testing
- Maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary ED teams
- Participate in process improvements and adherence to regulatory standards
