As a traveling Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, youll gain remarkable exposure to a wide variety of patient cases within a 108-bed hospital using Cerner FirstNet EMR. Working alongside a skilled team and diverse leadership, youll be immersed in new workplace dynamics and processes, adding valuable versatility to your resume and expanding your clinical toolbox.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts (07001930 or 19000730)
- 5 RNs and 3 ED Techs per shift
- Weekend coverage: Yes, 24/7 model
- No on-call required
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Active, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
- Familiarity with Cerner FirstNet is a plus
- Flexible, team-oriented mindset with adaptability to changing environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate closely with ED Techs and interdisciplinary team members
- Accurately document care and interventions using Cerner FirstNet
- Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures
