This travel opportunity in an Emergency Department sets the stage for rapid professional growth. Youll join a fast-paced unit serving a 108-bed hospital, providing exposure to complex patient cases, modern technologies, and forward-thinking leadership approaches. By contributing within a well-structured team, your skills as an ER RN will expand, making your experience and resume truly stand out in the competitive healthcare landscape.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day Shift: 7:00 am 7:30 pm (5 RNs, 3 ED Techs)
- Night Shift: 7:00 pm 7:30 am (5 RNs, 3 ED Techs)
- Weekend Coverage: Required 24/7 operation
- No call required
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and triage skills
- Familiarity with Cerner FirstNet EMR preferred
- Commitment to excellence in patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care across diverse patient populations
- Coordinate with physicians, techs, and other team members to support optimal outcomes
- Document assessments and interventions accurately within Cerner FirstNet
- Maintain composure and clear communication in fast-paced, high-pressure scenarios
- Adhere to hospital policies and display adaptability as needs arise
