Working as an RN in a busy emergency department, youll enhance your clinical acumen and develop a broader understanding of nursing practices. Schedule/Hours:
- 0700-1930 or 1900-0730
- 24/7 department coverage, including weekends
- No on-call required
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license, clear and unencumbered
- Previous experience in ER nursing, ideally in a similarly busy environment
- Proficiency with Cerner FirstNet EMR preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate communication and crisis management skills
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care in a 108-bed hospital setting
- Triage patients and respond swiftly to emergencies
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and procedures
- Document care efficiently using Cerner FirstNet
- Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and families
- Adapt to changing levels of acuity and patient volume
