Schedule/Hours:
- Day Shifts: 07001930, staffed with 5 RNs and 3 ED Techs
- Night Shifts: 19000730, staffed with 5 RNs and 3 ED Techs
- Weekend coverage required (24/7 coverage)
- No call shifts
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent ER experience
- Proficiency with EMR systems; Cerner FirstNet preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Ability to work weekends and adaptable to fast-paced settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy emergency department
- Collaborate with nursing and ED tech teams across day and night shifts
- Document care efficiently using Cerner FirstNet
- Respond quickly to emergent patient needs
- Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
