Working in a 108-bed hospitals bustling Emergency Department, youll encounter a diverse patient population and gain valuable exposure to a variety of clinical situations. Collaborate alongside knowledgeable emergency RN teams and ED Techs in a dynamic environment thats designed to strengthen your skills, broaden your clinical expertise, and expand your professional network. Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts: 0700-1930 or 1900-0730
- 5 RNs and 3 ED Techs per shift
- 24/7 weekend coverage required
- No call required
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Proficiency with Cerner FirstNet EMR preferred
- Flexibility for weekends and rotating shifts
- Ability to work collaboratively in high-stress situations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, efficient emergency nursing care
- Rapidly assess patients and prioritize based on acuity
- Support coordinated teamwork with ED staff and providers
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Cerner FirstNet
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
