Schedule/Hours:
- Four weekend shifts per month, with no on-call requirements
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Acute ER experience required
- Current certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS
- Trauma experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department
- Manage patient ratios averaging 4:1
- Collaborate with a cohesive team including RNs, Techs, and a Unit Secretary
- Perform IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, EKGs, and other emergency procedures
- Document using Meditech EMR
- Demonstrate professionalism in adherence to unit policies and dress code (Royal Blue scrubs)
- Float only as needed within designated areas
