An opportunity for a skilled RN with emergency room experience is available in the Porter, TX area. This travel position offers the chance to work in a dynamic 28-bed Emergency Department focused on acute patient care with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients with a typical 4:1 patient ratio.
• Perform critical procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, resuscitations, and EKGs.
• Collaborate closely with a team including charge nurses, techs, and unit secretaries on both day and night shifts.
• Use Meditech EMR system effectively to document and manage patient information.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, including wearing royal blue scrubs and working scheduled weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with proven acute ER experience required.
• Certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS mandatory for this role.
• Preferred skills include experience in trauma care.

Schedule:

• Weekend coverage requires 4 shifts per month.
• No on-call duties.
