Schedule/Hours:

  • 13-week minimum assignment commitment
  • Weekly Monday orientations (unless affected by holidays)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert emergency care in a Level 1 Trauma setting
  • Support and mentor nursing students in a collaborative teaching environment
  • Document and manage patient care using Cerner EMR
  • Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams across transplant and neuro specialties
  • Maintain the highest standards in critical care and acute patient management

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years' recent core ED/ER experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department or Neuro ICU setting
  • Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital experience is required
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR essential
  • Must successfully complete the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam and onboarding tasks before starting
  • Commitment to professional appearance: no facial piercings or unnatural hair colors
  • Must not currently work or have worked within Commonspirit in the last 12 months as permanent staff
