Take on an essential role providing expert emergency care in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. This contract opportunity offers a rewarding chance for Registered Nurses with strong ER skills and a commitment to safe, high-quality care.

Schedule:

• Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends (up to 2 per 4-week schedule)
• Floating required when census or acuity is low

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current RN license in New Mexico or Compact state licensure
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications from the American Heart Association
• TNCC or ATCN certification required
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills appropriate for emergency patient populations
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and coordinate age-appropriate, evidence-based patient care in the ER
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to ensure optimal outcomes
• Respond efficiently to emergency or crisis situations, prioritizing patient safety
• Comply with unit standards of care, protocols, and patient rights policies
• Serve as a resource within the department by supporting colleagues and floating as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold privacy and dignity for every patient
