Job Description
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Emergency Room (ER) care to provide clinical expertise in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract opportunity involves delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and adhering to professional nursing standards.
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position (specific shift details provided during interviews)
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- At least one year of Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work well under pressure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, or ENPC are a plus)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Accurately perform patient assessments and document findings in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to execute treatment plans
- Prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment, delivering timely interventions
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support team members while supervising patient care
- Promote a safe, therapeutic environment by following hospital protocols and safety guidelines
- Maintain compliance with the Standards of Nursing Practice and organizational policies
