This role places you at the center of rural emergency care, where every shift brings fresh challenges and opportunities to collaborate with talented healthcare professionals. Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts (3 x 12-hour shifts per week)
  • 2 additional call shifts weekly
  • Rotating coverage across Granby, Kremmling, and may include Fraser
  • Holidays and on-call duties are required

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active RN license and minimum of 2 years current ER experience (Critical Access Hospital and trauma-level experience highly preferred)
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS (or equivalent), TNCC, ATLS; CEN strongly preferred
  • Adaptability to various hospital environments and patient populations
  • Strong clinical assessment, planning, and coordination skills
  • Enthusiasm for rural healthcare and delivering excellent patient care in critical settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care from admission to discharge
  • Adhere to advanced clinical protocols and trauma care standards
  • Effectively manage high-acuity cases as part of a trauma-level IV team
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and clinical pathways
