Provide expert emergency nursing care in a fast-paced acute care setting focused on trauma and emergency patients of all ages. This travel position is based in Palmdale, CA, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic emergency department providing triage and treatment for trauma cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to emergency and trauma patients, ensuring prompt assessment and treatment.
- Perform triage to prioritize patient care based on urgency and severity.
- Collaborate with trauma team members to support acute patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Apply moderate sedation techniques as part of patient treatment when required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license with experience in emergency nursing.
- Background in triage and acute trauma care preferred.
- Certification in Moderate Sedation Training is required.
- NCI (National Credentialing Institute) certification required.
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
