Provide critical care and support for trauma and emergency patients across all age groups in a fast-paced acute care environment. This travel nursing opportunity in Palmdale, CA offers the chance to work in a dynamic emergency department designated as a trauma site, delivering life-saving interventions and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform triage and treatment of trauma and emergency patients efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with trauma site protocols and standards
- Administer moderate sedation as required, following established training and guidelines
- Document patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families
Desired Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
- Certification in Nursing Care of Injured (NCI) patients required
- Moderate Sedation Training completed and current
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment with quick decision-making skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
