As a travel RN specializing in Emergency Room care, you will expand your skills through daily engagement with fast-paced, diverse patient populations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position (duration and shifts may vary depending on assignment)
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Illinois or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of one year recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as TNCC or PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and triage skills
- Excellent communication and adaptability in rapidly changing situations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver emergency care to patients of all ages with varied medical and trauma needs
- Rapidly assess, prioritize, and implement effective nursing interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and other nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and follow all hospital protocols
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care when needed
