Schedule/Hours:
- Weekend coverage required
- Call and float not required
- Scheduling coordinated by staffing office
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license with emergency department experience
- Proficiency in triage, rapid assessment, and crisis management
- Strong documentation skills using Cerner or similar systems
- Ability to thrive in high-acuity and fast-paced settings
- Collaborative approach to working with hospitalists, intensivists, pharmacy, and phlebotomy professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse group of emergency patients
- Prioritize and manage patient flow efficiently within a 1:4 staffing ratio
- Administer medications utilizing Omnicell
- Collaborate closely with hospital support staff, unit secretaries, and live/remote intensivists
- Adhere to best practices for safety, documentation, and patient satisfaction
- Flex dress codewear any color scrubs, just no prints
