Position Details:
- Schedule:
- Weekend coverage required
- No call or float obligations
- Staffing managed via centralized office
- Unit Composition:
- 21 total rooms (including trauma bays and fast-track spaces)
- Staffing ratios of 1 nurse for every 4 patients
- Support Services:
- Full pharmacy and phlebotomy support
- Unit secretary available
- On-site intensivist (day), teleintensivist (night)
- 24/7 hospitalist coverage
- No dedicated IV or lift teams
Technology & Systems:
- Medication administration via Omnicell
- Electronic documentation with Cerner
- Scrubs may be any solid color (no prints)
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Current RN license with ER experience
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability
- Proficient with Cerner charting and Omnicell medication systems preferred
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Reliable for scheduled weekend shifts
