Experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse opportunity available in New Hartford, NY, offering a travel nursing position in a dynamic and fast-paced Emergency Department. This role requires a skilled RN with substantial ED and pediatric experience, supported by comprehensive certifications and competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional nursing care to diverse patient populations, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Manage critical cases including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
• Collaborate within a 64-bed unit featuring triage, acute care, super track, trauma, Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), and psychiatric beds.
• Demonstrate charge nurse capability when needed and float across units as required.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active NY Registered Nurse license and all applicable RN licenses verified through NURSYS.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Emergency Department nursing with some pediatric experience.
• Current certifications in AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Up-to-date resume that details travel nursing experience.
• Drivers license with current address matching demographics.
• Ability to provide Return to Office (RTO) information with submission.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system is mandatory.
• Charge nurse experience highly preferred.

Work Schedule:

• Shift hours: 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
• Block scheduling is available but not guaranteed.
