In this dynamic emergency nursing assignment, you'll collaborate with highly skilled professionals and adapt to both Emergency Department and Inpatient Hold settings. This role promises professional growth as you absorb a breadth of clinical techniques, management styles, and patient care approaches. Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Strong background in Emergency Room nursing
- Proven ability to manage both ED and Inpatient Hold ratios and acuity
- Critical thinking, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Previous travel nursing or float experience a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Triage and care for patients in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Flexibly manage care across ED and inpatient hold units as required by patient volume and acuity
- Coordinate and communicate patient needs with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care and patient advocacy
- Adhere to evidence-based practices and facility protocols
