Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 p.m. 7:30 a.m.
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Connecticut or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- TNCC, PALS, or ENPC strongly preferred
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and provide essential patient education
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Respond swiftly to acute situations and provide expert crisis intervention
- Adhere to facility and regulatory protocols for patient safety
