Schedule/Hours:

• 3 x 12-hour day shifts

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and delivering nursing care to patients with complex needs, ensuring safety and a positive patient experience
• Serving as the bedside trauma RN in the trauma room
• Managing a 1:5 patient ratio and treating a wide range of cases, from urgent care to trauma, psych, pediatric, and critical care
• Practicing advanced ED skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusions, and chest tube management
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to foster high-quality outcomes in intense clinical situations

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A current, valid RN license for DC or compact states
• At least 3 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Graduate from an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN strongly preferred
• Cerner EMR proficiency
• Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, ACLS (all required)
• Willingness to work in trauma care and adapt to variable patient needs
